Based in Brighton Adrian Bunting has spent much time writing, directing and producing theatre and comedy and lots of that experimenting with the relationship between performer and audience, passionately believing that much theatre is written not for the stage but for TV and film (if often not intentionally) and the fourth wall is solidly built to the detriment of the theatrical experience. What theatre can offer over TV and film, a personal relationship with the performers, is ignored at its peril.

Aged 46, he is currently employed as a building site manager, a job I keep returning to, to pay the bills. Previously he has lived and worked in Tanzania, Malawi and Antigua for substantial periods.

Theatrical works include creating the World's Smallest Theatre, running Zincbar the extremely successful performance platform, directing Joanna Neary in her comedy show that won a Perrier nomination, one of the 6 winners of BBC Radio 1 short play competition First Bite, writing numerous one man shows, compering the Brighton millennium celebrations, starring in Archangel Thunderbird a sci-fi film and lots of other stuff.
